David Moreno is a dedicated candidate for the City Council with a deep-rooted passion for public service and community development. As a first-generation college student, David earned degrees in Political Science and Sociological Organizational Studies at UC Davis, setting a foundation for a career focused on meaningful community impact.
David has developed a robust background in public service. Working with the City of Woodland-Economic Development Team, David gained invaluable experience in community and workforce development. This role provided insights into the needs of our city and the importance of strategic partnerships.
Further advancing this mission, David worked with Yolo County Supervisors, learning firsthand the significance of collaboration with community stakeholders, organizations, and other government entities. In his current role as Assistant Deputy to the 3rd District Supervisor, David has consistently demonstrated his ability to spearhead initiatives that deliver tangible benefits to the community.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, David is a recognized leader in local committees focused on women’s history, child literacy, and youth development.
With a track record of hands-on experience and a strong commitment to service, David is eager to bring a fresh perspective and dedicated leadership to the Woodland City Council.
